On March 7th, 2008, TBN has
transitioned the analog C-band channel on
Galaxy 14 to digital. The analog TBN channel will no longer be
available on your BUD C-band dish.
Glorystar has a easy and inexpensive solution to upgrade your Analog
C-band system to enjoy Digital TBN
with digital
recording PVR functions! Add four additional Free
Trinity Broadcasting Network channels: TBN Enlace,
Smile of a Child, JCTV and The Church Channel.
Glorystar has preprogrammed a Fortec Star Mercury II receiver
with all
five TBN digital channels for easy connection to your existing C-band
satellite system.
Connecting is as easy as these steps:
Place your
current analog satellite receiver on the analog TBN Channel (Galaxy 14,
Channel
3).
Identify the
coax cable that connects to the C-Band LNB on the satellite dish
(probably connected to the C-Band LNB connection on the analog
receiver).
Disconnect
this C-Band LNB coax cable from the rear of the analog receiver.
Connect this
C-Band LNB coax cable to the Digital LNB IN port on the rear of the new
digital satellite receiver.
Connect the
TV with one of the following connections:
Disconnect
the Yellow / White / Red AV RCA cables on the rear of the analog
receiver and connect to the Yellow / White / Red AV RCA ports
on the rear of the digital satellite receiver.
OR
Disconnect
the coax jumper cable from the TV RF OUT port on the rear of the analog
receiver and connect to the to the TV OUT port on the rear of the
digital satellite receiver.
Important
Notice: Do
not remove or totally
disconnect the analog satellite receiver. The analog satellite receiver
will still control the aiming and the polarity of the satellite dish.
